Pupil Welfare Officer, Carol Wells works alongside students, teachers and parents to promote good health and well being within the school. Carol is a Registered General Nurse with many years experience within schools and her duties include;

  • Promoting healthy living,
  • Providing nursing support to students with medical health needs, such as diabetes, epilepsy etc,
  • Contributing to PSHE programmes; giving talks to students from Nursery through to Sixth Form,
  • First Aid training for teachers,
  • Providing first aid during the school day including after school activities. Carol operates on an open door policy, giving students and staff the reassurance of having an expert on site who can provide professional and totally confidential advice on any aspects of health.
