Video Club
The aim of the Video Club is to give children the opportunity to view English language videos on a weekly basis. All children in the Lower School are eligible to join.

The Video Club has a wide selection of videos and dvds (over 1,000 titles) including classic children’s movies, popular BBC children’s TV series, educational videos for younger children and documentaries. The club also has many movie or TV versions of classic children’s literature such as the Narnia Chronicles, Famous Five, the Borrowers, Shoebox Zoo and more.

The Club is run on a subscription basis and all subscription money is used by the Club to purchase additional titles or to replace damaged dvds and videos. Of course, donations are always welcome: to such end, there is a Video Club white box located in the Reception Office.

The Club has recently added Books on CDs (Audio-Books) to their collection. As always, any donations of Audio-Books are greatly appreciated. The Club will also liaise with the school library to make books available so children can follow along as they listen.

Lunch Group
The Lunch Group is a group of volunteer parents that monitors the quality and variety of school lunches. The group works together with the catering service (PAP services) to set the seasonal menus, ensuring that meals are nutritionally balanced, contain fresh, quality organic ingredients and taste good. They also make certain the portions are sufficiently sized and are provided at a reasonable cost.

Thanks to donations from Friends, Video Club members and individual parents, the Lunch Group purchased an orange juice machine so that the children can have freshly squeezed orange juice several days of the week during the autumn and winter months. A group of volunteer parents operates the machine and distributes the juice to children at lunchtime.

Welcome Group
This is a newly formed group that welcomes new parents to the school and provides advice and support for families who have just moved to Milan. The group works closely with the school and class/year contacts to identify new parents, particularly those that come in the middle of the school year.

The Welcome Group is made up of parents from different neighborhoods or areas of Milan (Milano 2, city center etc). Members provide practical information on getting around town, shopping tips or obtaining services (dentists, tennis lessons, etc). They also help new parents network and meet other families that may live nearby or share interests or needs.
